With his debut single “Vores Forhandling” (Our Negotiation), he cemented Karoline Funder She is one of Denmark's most promising new music names. In the fall, her third single "Jeg Hader At Jeg Tænkte At Du ligde En Engel" followed, a song dedicated to the dark months when the sun sets too early and rises too late.

The Danish songwriter moves in an organic and guitar-driven sound universe that sonically draws inspiration from the American indie folk scene. With her wondering and honest songwriting, she captures the intense complexity that exists in our close relationships. She sings about the unspoken things that bother us and make us afraid – and about how we attach to and become dependent on each other.

Karoline Funder was last on stage at VEGA for VEGA's Udvalgte in January. A performance that went down well with Politiken, which gave her five hearts and the following words of praise from Soundvenue

Now she is getting ready for her first EP release, and this fall she will take over VEGA's Ideal Bar with her first show under her own name.
