Lainey Wilson is currently releasing the album Whirlwind and last November she won five Country Music Association Awards, including the night's biggest honour ‘Entertainer of the year’. In March, she will come to Denmark for the first time and play a concert at Store VEGA in Copenhagen.

After years of hard work in Nashville, where the musician was repeatedly told she was ‘too country for country,’ things are now looking quite promising for the 32-year-old singer and songwriter. In November, Wilson won five Country Music Association Awards, including Album of the Year for her breakthrough album Bell Bottom Country. She also won the night's most prestigious award, entertainer of the year, beating out the likes of Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs, becoming the first woman to win the award since Taylor Swift in 2011.

Lainey Wilson has won the hearts of music fans and colleagues with her authentic country style. Whirlwind, released on August 23rd this year, debuted at #8 on the Billboard 200, marking her first top 10 album.

Produced by Jay Joyce, the album explores Wilson's personal journey and features hits like "Hang Tight Honey" and "4x4xU". In addition to her success as a singer and songwriter, Wilson has also appeared on the TV series Yellowstone and was recently inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.
