Danish-Corsican Malu Pierini has created her own musical universe, where Nordic soul/pop meets French chanson. With a background in both classical and rhythmic music, Pierini's voice moves effortlessly between the intimate and the grand. In particular, she draws threads to her family's roots in the Paris cabaret scene, the raw beauty of the Mediterranean and stories that build bridges between the past and the present.

Since her debut in 2021, she has released a handful of songs that have garnered attention on the country's radio channels. Most recently, the single "Souvenir" was named Hit Tip of the Week on P4, while receiving high praise from both GAFFA and Soundvenue.

In early 2026, Pierini will release her debut album. An album that unites French 60s aesthetics, bossa nova, Corsican folk music and Nordic indie pop in a musical journey through generations - where stories of love, heritage and identity are woven together.

Malu Pierini is no stranger to the Danish music scene. In addition to a sold-out headliner at Hotel Cecil in February, she visited VEGA twice in 2023, first at a sold-out Ideal Bar and later at Lille VEGA. At the time, Malu Pierini simply went by her first name, but in line with a musical change of direction that highlights the fusion of her Corsican and Danish roots, she has since added her last name.

In a short time, Malu Pierini has made her mark as an artist with an international sound that can provide a shot of vitamin D to even the dreariest winter day. We look forward to the singer once again bringing a touch of Paris to the heart of the Danish pop scene when she visits Lille VEGA.
