Miklo demanded the attention of the hip-hop world in 2020 with the single “Artist,” which, with its hard-hitting production and raw lyrics, cemented the rapper as a new, compelling take on the sound of tomorrow's new voices.

Since then, Miklo has made a name for himself with hits like “Hvad For Noget” and “Early Morning,” both of which have been a hit on streaming platforms and social media. Now, the gritty wordsmith is back in the hip-hop spotlight with his debut album, Split Personality, and the subsequent single “Day & Night”.

On the album, Miklo picks up his first drill tendencies from the single “Artist”, but spices the release with elements from the world of house and pop. The cut is, as the title reveals, a divided experience, drawing on several different genres – but still with the same sense of razor-sharp lyricism. Soundvenue writes in its review of the record:

“Especially on the short 'Intro', Miklo does what he does best: Confrontational flows, crazy ad-libs and hellish lyrics, where we get surprisingly close to his time in prison and his experiences with the police.”

When Miklo takes the stage at VEGA, it will not only be a turning point for the musician himself, but also a unique opportunity for the audience to experience the rapper for the very first time.
