On singer-songwriter Petey' s second album USA (2023), he shares the difficult thoughts that keep him up at night. Mixing alt-pop and indie rock, Petey reflects on everything from masculinity to anxiety to the nature of human existence. The fine line between sensitive seriousness and playfully humorous lyrics, is al line Petey has no problem navigating.

Petey's career really took off through TikTok. In the beginning, it was small comedy sketches that caught the attention of users. With his rapidly increasing presence on social media, his fans also became aware of his music. However, when he writes music, it is not always in the comedic corner. The listener is embraced by down-to-earth indie folk and more electronic indie rock. His vocals vary from spoken-word and sensitive folk tones to a loud rock voice.

In addition to being on tour himself, Petey has warmed up for Two Door Cinema Club and Blink-182, as well as played with Medium Build. When he makes his way past Lille VEGA on February 18, a heartfelt but equally entertaining concert is in store.
