In the crystal clear glow of the disco ball, the American group creates Say She She dance-friendly beats and tones that are almost impossible to stand still to.

Drawing inspiration from disco luminary Nile Rodgers, the group turns up the musical thermostat with ethereal harmonies, catchy choruses and juicy grooves. Symptomatic of the group is their blazingly beautiful harmonies that intertwine between electronic elements and reverb-heavy effects.

Say She She consists of London-born Piya Malik and Americans Nya Parker Gazelle and Sabrina Cunningham, who together have provided the dance floor with the records Prism (2022) and Silver (2023). Now the trio is once again ready to lubricate the listeners' hips with their silky smooth and inciting sound universe; this year their latest album, Cut & Rewind.

On all the tracks on the album, Say She She continues their danceable musical tendencies. With exuberant energy, the group marches straight into the ear canal and sets both hearts and feet on fire.

On Cut & Rewind Along with being dance-friendly, there is also a political undertone, which gives the album an extra dimension and musical weight.

The song “Under the Sun” was created in solidarity with the strikes in and around the Writers Guild of America in 2023. With the song and the record, Say She She offers a special form of sweat-dripping protest music that, in a time of unrest, can form a sounding board for a sense of community and act as a soundtrack for the dance.
