Swedish Boko Yout are current with their energetic debut album, GUSTO, which was released in early September.

The album is structured as a sonic therapy program, where the protagonist Mordecai, a semi-fictional alter ego, is guided by the eccentric Dr. Gusto through encounters with his "shadows" - that is, fears, inherited burdens and inner conflicts. On GUSTO we are sent through a kaleidoscopic world, where spiritual symbolism meets uncompromising creativity.

With GUSTO, Boko Yout has emerged as one of the Nordics' most innovative and uncompromising voices. The album is their most ambitious work to date, and has been unanimously praised across Sweden.

Boko Yout's sound lies between a myriad of genres and has been described as Afro-grunge by the band. The group's sound is an intense and boundless blend of the eccentric experimentalism of rap collective Odd Future, the alternative art rock of Yves Tumor and the funk groove of LCD Soundsystem.

In 2025, they were nominated for the MME Awards as one of the 15 most promising talents on the European music scene and have made a strong impression at festivals all across Europe.

The concert is supported by Liveurope. Liveurope is the first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote emerging European artists. Liveurope is co-funded by the EU's Creative Europe programme.
