Sylvie Kreusch chases the horizon with experimental pop
Belgian artist Sylvie Kreusch is quickly becoming one of the most impressive and electrifying artists in Europe. Her groundbreaking music and visuals have already turned many heads in music, film and fashion. Kreusch is known for her brutal, expressive lyricism and her keen ear for experimental pop.
After releasing his debut EP BADA BING! BADA BOOM! her artistic vision blossomed on the captivating, critically acclaimed debut album, Montbray (2021).
The album illustrates Sylvie Kreusch's heartbreak with the suspense and thrill of a spy thriller. To say that the Belgian artist has a flair for the dramatic is a serious understatement. Wherever Sylvie sets foot, superlatives tend to follow her like a trail of fire.
During his tour with Montbray she strutted around the stage like a red-clad international mystery woman who somehow found her way into our tangible world.
When Sylvie Kreusch was little, her starry eyes would be immersed in a collection of old comic books in her grandmother's attic. These bright, fantastical tales were the younger Sylvie's gateway to a magical place far from the daily grind of reality. Every time she turned a new page, she was gripped by sheer wonder, possibility, and excitement.
It is these big, bold emotions that serve as the main conductor of Sylvie Kreusch's upcoming, adventurous album Comic Trip, which will be released on November 8, 2024.
