The electronic indie pop duo i Zimmer90 have gotten on the crest of the waves in the last few years. In 2023, the duo hit the road on a sold-out tour.

And this year the EP landed What Love Is (2024). Since its release, the singles "Summer Rain" and "What Love Is" have cemented Zimmer90's place on the musical map, and especially the "What Love Is" went viral on Instagram and TikTok.

"What Love Is" is wrapped in gentle and melancholic synthesizer tones, and the band explains in an interview with PAPER Magazine how the sound image and the song's message have formed the sounding board for a viral hit:

"The song is about the crucial moments in relationships when everything is at stake and the important questions are asked such as "Do you even know what love is?" or “What does love mean to you?” This is also where the phrase “Will we stay the same?” developed. I believe that it encourages us to look back and reflect. That's why it fits in very well with the recap trend that's currently happening.”

On stage, Zimmer90 invites the audience on a musical journey. Acoustic and electronic elements flow together and the distance from the stage and the hall is dissolved in an all-encompassing dance party.
