In the summer of 2023, Irish folk trio Amble could see themselves leaving their everyday lives as teachers and computer scientists when a phone call from Los Angeles landed them a contract with one of the major record labels, Warner Records.

Without grand ambitions of world domination or a billion plays, Amble approaches music with a “less-is-more” approach. Their unique ear for traditional melodies and penchant for telling current stories is central to the band's vision for the future.

The band members share a love of songwriting. Although they have different ways of writing songs, the lyrics are something that creates a unique dynamic in the three boys' collaboration. Lead singer Robbie Cunningham describes their musical process as both natural and down-to-earth:

"Every one of our songs tells a story. We had no ambition to add bells or whistles or anything production-wise. It was more like we're putting a microphone in a room, recording the music, and that's it."
