It's not every day that an unknown country singer bursts onto the music scene and lands a number one spot on the US Billboard Hot 100. But that's exactly what happened when Christopher Anthony Lunsford – better known as Oliver Anthony Music – shared his song " Rich Men From North of Richmond" on his YouTube channel.  

Oliver Anthony Music has since taken the world by storm with his honest, powerful vocals and his unique ability to put into words the experiences that often go under the radar in mainstream pop culture. With songs that mix nostalgia, childhood memories and the difficult realities of adulthood, he manages to give hope to the hopeless and voice to the voiceless.  

His debut track "Rich Men From North of Richmond" currently has over 77 million views on YouTube and has been streamed more than 250 million times across all platforms. He has also made music history by debuting at number 1 on Billboard without having previously had a song on the charts, and he has had a total of 13 songs on Billboard's Top-50 Digital Song Sales simultaneously – a feat no male songwriter has previously accomplished.  

In April 2024, he released his first studio album, Hymnal Of A Troubled Man's Mind, produced by Grammy winner Dave Cobb. The 11-track album has been praised for its genuine and down-to-earth sound, where acoustic guitars, bass and fiddle accentuate Anthony's soulful, raw voice, taking the listener on a musical journey through the roots of traditional country.  

On February 4, Danish fans will have the chance to experience America's new country voice when Oliver Anthony Music comes to Denmark for the first time to occupy Store Vega and bring his honest and powerful music to Copenhagen.
