The Danish hooligan band From Quar has entered the Danish music scene in record time with unstoppable self-confidence and stadium-worthy screaming hits.

In April they rocked a packed Ideal Bar, in November they will play no less than two sold-out Lille VEGA shows, and now the hyped band is ready to take on Store VEGA in nothing less than the biggest headliner of their career to date.

Although Von Quar has only released four official singles – including the latest “Hæng En Mand” – the 16-piece group is well on its way to becoming one of Denmark's most talked-about bands.

Over the summer, they have taken down Danish festivals with national anthems, charismatic football energy and Danish-language rock music in a universe of hypnotic synths and hard-hitting drums. Which has resulted in one hit review after another.
The band's concert at Hartland was called "a coronation of unbridled superiority" by GAFFA, received six stars and left the reviewer in amazement:

"I don't know whether to shake my pants in fear or bow down to the next heirs to the throne of the Danish music scene."

The band themselves call their style hooligan rock, which draws on the atmosphere and sense of community from major sporting and stadium events. Frontman and mastermind Mikkel Øster transforms his passion from the football stands, where he himself has acted as a whip and drummer, into a musical universe that draws on both rock, punk and rave culture.

When Von Quar blasts beyond the live bars at Store VEGA, the band – which also includes an entire brass section – will deliver a hard-hitting concert experience at the intersection of rock and booming electropop.
